What your IP address tells a website
Every site you open sees one public IP address: the address of your home router, mobile network or the IP service you use. From it a site can tell your country and often your city and network, and many sites use it to choose language, prices, content and security checks.
A static IP keeps that address the same every day, which suits logins, allowlists and servers. A rotating IP changes it on a schedule or on request, which suits research and checks from many addresses. A country IP shows an address in another country through a private line.
IPv4 and IPv6
An IPv4 address is four numbers such as 203.0.113.25. An IPv6 address is longer and uses letters and colons. Many networks give both; this page shows the one your browser used for this visit.
How to change the IP websites see
Install the ProxyWorld app and connect a static, rotating, country or secure IP plan, or set a static proxy in your browser or tool. Open this page again: it shows the new address and country, which is the quickest way to confirm the connection works.
