Frequently asked questions
1. What is a cloud PC?
A cloud PC is a Windows computer that runs in a data center. You see its desktop through Remote Desktop and use it like a normal PC, while it keeps running when your own device is off.
2. Which cloud PC should I pick?
Cloud PC A (4 vCPU, 4 GB, 50 GB SSD) suits light tools. Cloud PC B (4 vCPU, 8 GB, 100 GB SSD) is the popular choice for browsers and several apps at once. Cloud PC C (4 vCPU, 4 GB, 150 GB SSD) gives you more disk for files and data.
3. What are the Server PCs?
Server PC has 2x Xeon E5-2620 v4 (16 cores, 32 threads), 32 GB of memory and a 500 GB SSD for marketing tools, social media work and scraping. Server PC GPU doubles the memory to 64 GB, adds a 1 TB SSD and an NVIDIA GT 1030 for Android emulators, 3D and mobile games and video.
4. How do I connect?
Open Remote Desktop on Windows, the Remote Desktop app on macOS, Android or iOS, and enter the address and login shown in My services. The setup guide on this site walks through each device.
5. Does a cloud PC have its own IP?
Yes. Cloud PC A, B and C come with one dedicated IP, and you can change it once a month at no cost.
6. What is the Proxy Server?
Proxy Server is a dedicated machine with 20 cores, 40 threads, 64 GB of memory and a 500 GB SSD, configured for your proxy software. You can add static proxy IPs to it in any amount.

What a cloud PC is
A cloud PC is a Windows computer that lives in a data center instead of on your desk. You open its desktop through Remote Desktop and use it like any other PC: install software, open browsers, run tools. When you close the window, the cloud PC keeps running, so long jobs continue while your own computer is off.
Every ProxyWorld cloud PC comes with its own dedicated IP. That makes it a clean, separate place to run work that should come from one address, apart from your home or office connection.
There are six machines: three Cloud PCs on Windows 10 Pro, two Server PCs on dual Xeon processors, and a dedicated Proxy Server.
Cloud PCs on Windows 10 Pro
Cloud PC A, B and C all run Windows 10 Pro on 4 vCPU and include one dedicated IP with one free IP change a month. They differ in memory and disk.
Cloud PC B is the most popular: 8 GB of memory handles several browsers and desktop tools at once. Cloud PC C has the same price but trades memory for disk, with 150 GB SSD for files, exports and data.
- Cloud PC A: 4 vCPU, 4 GB, 50 GB SSD, $11.19 a month, minimum 3 machines.
- Cloud PC B: 4 vCPU, 8 GB, 100 GB SSD, $15.66 a month, minimum 2 machines.
- Cloud PC C: 4 vCPU, 4 GB, 150 GB SSD, $15.66 a month, minimum 2 machines.
Server PCs and the Proxy Server
Server PC and Server PC GPU are full machines with 2x Xeon E5-2620 v4, which gives 16 cores and 32 threads. Server PC has 32 GB of memory and a 500 GB SSD for marketing tools, social media work and scraping. Server PC GPU has 64 GB, a 1 TB SSD and an NVIDIA GT 1030 for Android emulators, 3D and mobile games and video.
Proxy Server is a dedicated machine with 20 cores, 40 threads, 64 GB of memory and a 500 GB SSD, configured for your proxy software. You can add static proxy IPs to it in any amount, which suits teams that run their own proxy setup at scale.
- Server PC: $31.33 a month, 1 to 10 machines.
- Server PC GPU: $58.19 a month, 1 to 10 machines.
- Proxy Server: $67.14 a month, 1 to 10 machines.
Cloud PC or Server PC: how to decide
Pick a Cloud PC when the work is one person's desktop: a browser with a few tabs, a scheduler, a store dashboard or a light desktop tool. The three Cloud PCs share 4 vCPU and Windows 10 Pro, and the choice between them is about memory and disk.
Pick a Server PC when the work needs real processing power: many browser profiles at once, data processing or scraping at scale. With 16 cores and 32 threads, one Server PC does the work of several smaller machines. Choose Server PC GPU when software needs a graphics card, such as Android emulators, 3D and mobile games, or video tasks.
Pick the Proxy Server when you run your own proxy software and want a dedicated machine with 20 cores, 40 threads and 64 GB of memory to serve it, with static proxy IPs added in the amount you need.
Data center locations
Cloud PCs and servers are placed in six countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan and Singapore. Pick the location closest to the sites and users you work with. Frankfurt and Amsterdam reach all of Europe quickly, Singapore reaches Southeast Asia and Australia, and the US locations cover the Americas.
The location also sets the country of the machine's IP. A cloud PC in Japan shows a Japanese address to every site it opens, which is what you want for work aimed at Japanese users. Distance to you matters less, since Remote Desktop only sends the screen to your device.
How to choose quantity and period
Buy one machine per job that should run on its own desktop and IP. Two people who each need a desktop need two machines; one person running several browser profiles can often fit them on a single Cloud PC B or a Server PC.
Your total is the price per machine, times the number of machines, times the months, minus the period discount, rounded down to the cent.
Work that runs every day, like monitors and schedules, is the best fit for 180 or 360 days, where the 10% or 25% discount applies.
- Cloud PC B for 2 machines for 30 days: 2 x $15.66 = $31.32.
- Cloud PC B for 2 machines for 90 days: 2 x $15.66 x 3 months, minus 5% = $89.26.
- Cloud PC A for 3 machines for 180 days: 3 x $11.19 x 6 months, minus 10% = $181.27.
- Server PC GPU for 1 machine for 360 days: $58.19 x 12 months, minus 25% = $523.71.
- Proxy Server for 1 machine for 90 days: $67.14 x 3 months, minus 5% = $191.34.
Connecting by Remote Desktop
After you buy, the machine appears in My services with its address and login. On Windows, open Remote Desktop Connection, enter the address, then the user and password. On macOS, Android and iOS, install the Remote Desktop app from your device's app store and add the machine with the same details.
Once connected, you see the Windows desktop and can install the software you need. Open our free My IP page at /en/my-ip inside the cloud PC to see its dedicated IP.
Remote Desktop can share your local clipboard and, on Windows, local drives, which makes it easy to move files in and out. Set the display to fit your screen, and on a phone use the app's touch mode for easier control. You can disconnect at any time; programs keep running on the cloud PC until you sign in again.
What people run on cloud PCs
Cloud PCs solve a simple problem for many people: the work needs a computer that is always on, but nobody wants to leave a laptop running at home. A cloud PC stays on in the data center with a stable connection and power, and you check on it from your phone during the day.
Marketers run ad tools, social media schedulers and browsers on a machine that stays online. Sellers keep store dashboards open on a dedicated IP. Researchers run scrapers on 16 Xeon cores. Mobile teams run Android emulators on the GPU server, and people on slower laptops use a cloud PC for heavier software.
Cloud PCs also pair well with our other products. You can install the ProxyWorld app on a cloud PC to use a rotating or static plan from the machine itself.
Limits, fair use and related products
Cloud PCs follow the same fair use rules as every plan: no bulk email, no bulk account creation, no attacks, no fraud and nothing illegal. The free IP change is once a month on Cloud PC A, B and C.
Remote Desktop sends the screen over your connection, so a stable network on your side gives the smoothest picture.
Static IP plans add dedicated addresses in 24 countries for devices you already own. Rotating IP plans give a pool of addresses for tasks where each job should come from a new IP.
