Set up the app on Android, iPhone, iPad and Mac

The ProxyWorld app works the same way on phones, tablets and Macs: install it, sign in with your service login code, connect and, on country plans, choose which apps use the IP with split tunnel.

Plans that use the mobile and Mac apps

Every app-based plan runs on Android, iOS and macOS as well as Windows: Rotate Lite, Rotate Max, ISP Rotate Lite and ISP Rotate Pro; Static IP and Premium ISP Static IP; Country IP Lite, Premium and Global; and the Secure IP plans from Firewall 10 to Complete 50. Static, country and secure plans use a WireGuard based connection, which reconnects quickly when a phone moves between mobile data and Wi-Fi.

Each phone, tablet or Mac counts as one device. A Country IP Premium order for 3 devices, for example, covers a phone, a tablet and a Mac at the same time.

Find your service login code

Open My services in your account and select the service you want on the device. Copy the service login code shown there. On a phone, the easiest way is to open your account in the phone's browser and copy the code directly, so you do not have to type it.

Each service has its own code. If you own both a country plan and a static plan, sign in with the code of the one you want to use on this device.

Android

Install the Android app from the download link shown with your service in My services. Open it, paste the service login code and tap Connect. Android asks for permission to set up a VPN connection the first time; allow it, because the app uses the system VPN feature to carry your traffic.

When connected, a key icon appears in the status bar. Open /en/my-ip in your browser to confirm the new IP and its country. To keep the connection on after a restart, turn on the always-on option for the app in Android's VPN settings.

iPhone and iPad

Install the iOS app from the link in My services, open it and paste your service login code. iOS asks to add a VPN configuration; tap Allow and confirm with your passcode or Face ID. Then tap Connect.

While connected, a VPN badge shows near the clock. You can turn the connection on and off from the app or from Settings, under VPN. Check the result on /en/my-ip in Safari.

Mac

Install the macOS app from the link in My services and move it to Applications. Open it, paste the service login code and click Connect. macOS asks you to allow a VPN configuration the first time; approve it in the system prompt.

The app sits in the menu bar while it runs, so you can connect, disconnect and change IP without opening the main window. You can set it to open at login so the Mac always starts on your plan.

Changing IP on a phone or Mac

On rotating plans, tap Change IP to move to another address in your pool; the app reconnects in a few seconds. Rotate Max allows unlimited IP changes, which is handy when you check an ad or a listing from several addresses in a row.

On Static IP, Change IP gives you a new dedicated address with one click. Country and secure plans keep the address in the country you chose, so you can stay connected all day without thinking about it.

Split tunnel: choose which apps use the IP

Country IP plans include split tunnel. Instead of sending every app through the country IP, you pick the apps that should use it. Everything else keeps using your local connection at full local speed.

This is the setting people living abroad use most. Banking, video and messaging apps from home go through the country IP, while maps, local shopping and ride apps stay on the local network and show local results. Open the split tunnel settings in the app, select the apps and reconnect.

A quick way to test it is to add one browser to the tunnel and leave another out. Open /en/my-ip in both: one shows the country IP, the other shows your local address.

Troubleshooting on mobile and Mac

If something does not work, these steps solve most cases.

  • The VPN permission was declined: open the app again and accept the permission prompt, or allow it in the system VPN settings.
  • Another VPN app is active: turn it off, since only one VPN connection can run at a time on phones.
  • An app still shows your local region: close the app fully and open it again after connecting, or check that it is included in split tunnel.
  • The connection drops when the screen is off: allow the app to run in the background and turn off battery saving for it.
  • The code is not accepted: copy it again from My services and check that the service period is active.

Questions

1. Can one order cover my phone and my laptop?

Yes. Each unit is one device, and you can mix Windows, Android, iOS and macOS in the same order. A 3 device order covers any three of them at once.

2. Which plans have split tunnel?

Split tunnel is part of Country IP Lite, Country IP Premium and Country IP Global. It lets you choose which apps use the country IP.

3. Does the app use a lot of battery?

Static, country and secure plans use a WireGuard based connection, which is known for low overhead and quick reconnects. Allowing the app to run in the background keeps the connection steady.

4. How do I check my IP on a phone?

Open /en/my-ip in the phone's browser while connected. It shows the address and country that websites see.
